No.2 Troop, Antrim

A group photograph of No.2 Troop of an unidentified Squadron in Antrim just before or soon after the outbreak of war. The tall man at the rear is Private Frederick Lindsay (Service No.753), from Drumlamph, Bellaghy, County Londonderry. Believed to stand 6' 7" tall, Lindsay enlisted in the North Irish Horse in late 1912 and embarked for France with A Squadron on 21 August 1914. He later served with the Army Service Corps.
